Water-stained violin proven to be the one that played Nearer my God to Thee by Wallace Hartley as the Titanic sank is found. [x]

It is the instrument that he played as the ship went down in the Atlantic, and that he later used as a buoyancy aid once Titanic went down.

The violin was discovered only by chance when the son of an amateur musician found it in his attic. It was given to his mother by her violin teacher and was left gathering dust.

The discovery was almost too good to be true, prompting experts to have the relic forensically examined by some of the most revered scientific bodies in Britain.

Now, after seven years of testing at a cost of tens of thousands of pounds, the water-stained violin has been proven to be the one played by Hartley on the night of the tragedy.

These pictures show how incredibly well-preserved the rose wood violin is despite its age and it being exposed to the sea for 10 days after the sinking.

There are two long cracks on its body that are said to have been opened up by moisture damage.

The photos also show the corroded engraved silver plate screwed onto the base of the fiddle that provided scientists with they key proof of its authenticity.

The historic violin, said to be worth a six figure sum, will go on public display at the Belfast City Hall, where Titanic was built, at the end of March.

Negotiations are also under way to exhibit it in museums around the world including America. It is likely to be auctioned off in the future.

Titanic experts have described it as the most important artefact associated with the infamous liner to have come to light.

“We enter a little coffeehouse with a friend of mine and give our order. While we’re approaching our table two people come in and they go to the counter:

‘Five coffees, please. Two of them for us and three suspended’ They pay for their order, take the two and leave.

I ask my friend: “What are those ‘suspended’ coffees?”
My friend: “Wait for it and you will see.”

Some more people enter. Two girls ask for one coffee each, pay and go. The next order was for seven coffees and it was made by three lawyers - three for them and four ‘suspended’. While I still wonder what’s the deal with those ‘suspended’ coffees I enjoy the sunny weather and the beautiful view towards the square infront of the café. Suddenly a man dressed in shabby clothes who looks like a beggar comes in throught the door and kindly asks
‘Do you have a suspended coffee ?’

It’s simple - people pay in advance for a coffee meant for someone who can not afford a warm bevarage. The tradition with the suspended coffees started in Naples, but it has spread all over the world and in some places you can order not only a suspended coffee, but also a sandwitch or a whole meal.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have such cafés or even grocery stores in every town where the less fortunate will find hope and support ? If you own a business why don’t you offer it to your clients… I am sure many of them will like it.”

God (or who/what ever you believe in) gave us such great gifts above all other living things in the world, and yet we are using it to destroy ourselves.

We have been given the drive to constantly improve our capability to absorb, store, and utilize knowledge. We have been given curiosity and strong emotions that is distinct from other living things because it has been so developed through the powerful and complicated brain we have all been gifted with. Because of our unusually strong curiosity and drive, we created countless languages amongst our species. We created expression in forms of art, dance, music, and speech. We have developed the means to travel and explore. We have developed organized societal systems that give us smooth transitions through various stages of our lives. We enhanced efficiency. Up to this day, we constantly test and push the limits of our intelligence. With these gifts, we have gone so far in the little number of years we have existed in this world. With these gifts, we have created humanity.

But everything comes with a price.

Human are animals. We are not special. We were simply given a few extra gifts by God. God gave us these gifts and assigned us the mission of preserving the balance and harmony of the world. It is irrelevant asking why God would give humans these gifts and not other living things. What matters more is making sure that we sustain the world we live in by carrying out the mission which God entrusted in us. It is saddening to see that this power has been abused constantly to the point of harming ourselves too, with violence, hate, selfishness, disrespect, over-indulgence, and lack of passion. What is concerning is the damage to people spiritually at an alarming pace as they lose their focus on what matters in the world. It does not take an expert to notice that these days people are much more work-oriented, technology-driven, materialistic, and reliant, and it does not take an expert to notice that these traits are slowly consuming everyone from the inside out. What is also concerning is how much of the first world population do not notice these things happening. If this keeps up, people will lose the depth of understanding the world culturally and socially, and the mission that was sent to them will be lost because humanity destroys the things that made it up in the first place. Ultimately, humanity will destroy itself.

Throughout the entire history of humankind, these gifts given to us have been abused and left critical impacts on the world. Now is the time to redirect our focuses in life back to the mission he has entrusted in us.

First step: Global realization.
Second step: Acceptance.
Third step: Global understanding.

And last but not least, the fourth and final step:The process of healing.
